Aggio and Communication

Aggio offers customers and visitors who provide contact information a means to choose how the Company uses the information provided. You may manage your receipt of marketing and non-transactional communications by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link located on the bottom of the Company’s marketing emails.

Customers cannot opt out of receiving transactional emails related to their usage of Aggio Services Platform.

We will provide notification of material changes to this statement through the Company’s Websites or to our Customer via email prior to the change becoming effective. Aggio and Your Information

 

Information Collected

 

When expressing an interest in obtaining additional information about Aggio products or accessing secure areas of our Websites, Aggio requires you to provide the following personal information, such as: Name, company name, email address, mailing address, phone number, portal login id and password.

 

When you purchase Aggio’s solutions or services, we will ask you to provide billing information. When you register for or attend corporate events, Aggio may ask you to provide basic contact information, billing information, and information on your participation in the events on Aggio’s Website.

We may obtain business contact information of agriculture professionals from third party public sources such as associations and directories for use in Aggio Data and KOL Data Products.

 

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. As you navigate the Company’s Website, Aggio may also collect information through the use of commonly used information gathering tools such as web beacons and cookies. Information collected includes standard information from your web browser such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, operating system, referring/exit pages, links clicked, and actions taken while browsing.

Aggio, LLC may provide bulletin boards, blogs, or chat rooms on the Company’s Websites. Any personal information you choose to submit in such a forum may be read, collected, or used by others who visit these forums, and may be used to send you unsolicited messages. Aggio is not responsible for the personal information you choose to submit in these forums.

 

Aggio, LLC may post lists of Customers and testimonials on the Company’s Websites that contain information such as Customer names and titles. Aggio obtains the consent of each Customer prior to posting any information on such a list or posting testimonials. To request removal of your personal information from our blog or forum or to have your testimonials removed, contact us at info@aggio.io.

 

Correcting and Updating Your Information

 

Upon request Aggio LLC will provide you with information about whether we hold any of your personal information. To review and update your personal information to ensure it is accurate, contact us at info@aggio.io. We will respond to all requests for access, to correct inaccurate data, update information, or delete information within 20 business days.


If you would like to update or change your password, you may click on the “Forgot your password?” link on the login page. You will be required to provide your username then a system generated password will be created and sent to the email address indicated on your profile. The email will contain a link where you can change your password.

 
AGGIO AND GDPR

 

This section provides specific information about how Aggio complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”). We welcome this opportunity to put the individual data subject in the driver’s seat.

Aggio will process personal data only if and to the extent that at least one of the following applies:

  1. You have given consent to the processing of your personal data for one or more specific purposes;

  2. processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party or in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract;

  3. processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which Aggio is subject; or

  4. processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by Aggio or by a third party, except where such interests are overridden by your interests or your fundamental rights and freedoms.

 

When we collect personal data from you, we will make sure that you are aware of the purposes of the processing for which the personal data are intended as well as the legal basis for the processing; if applicable, the legitimate interests pursued by Aggio or by a third party; the recipients or categories of recipients of the personal data, if any; and where applicable, the appropriate or suitable safeguards to protect your personal data. If Aggio intends to further process the personal data for a purpose other than that for which the personal data were collected, we will provide you, prior to that further processing, with information on that other purpose and with any relevant further information.

You may exercise your data subject rights under Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR by contacting info@aggio.io. Aggio will provide information on action taken on a request under Articles 15 to 22 to you without undue delay and in any event within one month of receipt of the request.

If we need to extend by two further months where necessary, taking into account if the complexity and number of the requests that require more time, then Aggio will inform you of any such extension within one month of receipt of the request, together with the reasons for the delay. If you make the request by electronic form means, we will provide the information to you by electronic means where possible, unless otherwise requested by you.

If Aggio does not take action on your request, we will inform you without delay and at the latest within one month of receipt of the request of the reasons for not taking action and on your possibility of lodging a complaint with a supervisory authority and seeking a judicial remedy.

Security

 

The security of your personal information and our Customers’ information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as login credentials) on our platform login, we encrypt the transmission of that information using secure transport layer security (TLS). We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
